{Shop Local Series: Boho Lifestyle - Spring Staples Part One}

Whenever I have an upcoming I trip I love to gather a few new items to wear ! I am naturally a planner, but sometimes life gets busy and you need a go to place you can pop into that you know will guarantee some solid pieces! We don't have a Nordstrom's in Napa, but we are lucky enough to have a few boutiques that knock it out of the park when it comes to keeping us ladies fashionable! One of my favorite spots is Boho Lifestyle, I always find way too much stuff there, it's probably because they are always working through inventory! So as you look through these shots, make sure to keep in mind - if you like it - GO GET IT!

My main goal for this blog is to give people a reference for style in Napa, but please be aware, this is my style and by no means the only type of stuff you can get at Boho. They also offer a bunch of adorable body suits, tighter more form fitting dresses and rompers. I just prefer loose and comfortable, not to mention, I live here and it's what makes the most sense. Like I have said in the past, when your going around drinking wine all day, it becomes much more a function of comfort, than style. However if you can do both that's where the magic happens.

On this recent trip I was looking for spring items I could transition into summer pieces eventually. I'm currently in New Orleans and the weather is 80 degrees with 75% humidity - which feels fucking amazing ! Besides the whole cold thing, I'm super pumped to be here and experience all the sights - less alcohol and then I remember more! HA! I fell in love with this off the shoulder top by Entro ($38) and the Angie Romper ($47) - both pieces are made of lightweight materials and flow effortless around my curves! The Romper has a waist cinching effect that gives me the illusion of curves!! I have no waist and a tummy, so something that cinched from the sides gave me everything I needed ! The Entro top has the best bell sleeve detail, the light blue stripes remind me of a southern bell, paired with white jeans and a straw hat - drop the mic!

Really my advice when coming to New Orleans, wear comfortable shoes: wedges, closed toe flats, adidas, nikes....honestly the whole athleisure thing will really benefit you here ! I would definitely skip bringing any maxi dresses or long flowy pants because you don't want anything touching the ground - it's really dirty in the French quarter :/......

Keep an eye on the blog for part 2 of my NOLA trip {styled by Boho Lifestyle} and the best outfit yet...hint, it's in store and may have made a debut on the @boholifestyle insta already - it's amazing and is the perfect NOLA wedding guest look - not to mention the parade we get to be a part of... cannot wait to bring you more Spring looks from Boho Lifestyle ! Make sure to check out Boho if you live in Napa or if your visiting the Valley, DEFINITELY make a special trip to see them!

Thanks for following along, can't wait to bring you more from our epic trip!!

Thank you Boho Lifestyle for Sponsoring this post !
