{Shop Local Series: Boho Lifestyle Spring Staples Series Part Deux}

Spring is officially here and we are enjoying some gorgeous 70 degree days followed by mild 55-65 degree evenings. That weather pattern is pretty typical around this time of year, making dressing for a day of wine tasting with dinner immediately following, a little tricky ! Something that always happens to me, I have to work (DUH) and then I will have dinner plans immediately following work, presumablly with a client who is visiting from out of state. The fact that this person is only in town for a certain amount of days, hours etc, makes it really difficult to say no to the occasional after work dinner at Bistro Jeanty, REDD and or any of the other wonderful restaurants near my work - Silver Trident Winery! I promise I am NOT complaining, just stating the facts! Not to mention the idea of wearing something that is work appropriate and then can transition to a comfortable look for dinner!

In this latest installment of my "Shop Local Series," I was invited into Boho Lifestyle to check out their latest supply of Spring looks and even a little peek into the back room where stuff awaits its time on the floor! I found a few pieces I was able to bring with to New Orleans (first post HERE)... and then a few cute staples I could add to my spring wardrobe!

A trend I am really loving is this whole Choker Neckline (seen HERE and HERE), it is the perfect shirt for someone who wears minimal jewelry like me! It instantly gives me a shape and silhouette and flatters my décolletage ! This coral stunner $38 I found at Boho is in limited supply, they only have about 3 left at this point, so definitely make sure to pop in soon if your looking for this exact shirt and or just pop in to see the other new things they have! The reason this shirt is perfect for work and play is the shape, the sleeve and the lightweight material..I can wear this all day without fear of the sleeve getting in the way, it is just cropped enough that it wouldn't interfere with pouring wine and the neckline is appropriate for work, with just enough cute/sexy to make me feel on top of the world! I can easily walk right out the door and across the street to dinner, maybe a little shoe change - from slides to chunk heels....but other than that your set!

For my second look that you can take from work to a night out with friends, we have this dreamy light purple shirt dress $48!! It's just long enough to be considered appropriate as a dress for the day time if you're out wine tasting, but if you DID want to try it for work, I suggest jeans and a slight tuck in style or knot it at the bottom, throw a tank on underneath, whereas in this specific look I have a sexy lace bralette $22 underneath for a pop of texture ! You can find both the bralette and t-shirt dress at Boho Lifestyle, but like the other top, they only have a few left! Make sure to call if your out of state, they happily ship for a flat rate!
